Sadistique, the grand BDSM event in Milano, notoriously has a different theme every month. This is an additional game to the regular dress code: inventing a themed outfit is fun, makes for a varied ambiance and… increases the chances to win two free entry tickets for the next month if you choose to get photographed and published. But this time something odd happened.
When we announced that on December 2nd the theme would be Barbarella – Vintage sci-fi, several younger guests looked at us perplexed, confessing they had no idea what we were talking about. So let’s make amends right now: Barbarella was the protagonist of the same-name movie from the Sixties, inspired by a famous French comic. Its iconic, ironic and sexy look gave origin to the “space fashion” fad by Paco Rabanne, Pierre Cardin and André Courréges. Or, in other words, the perfect inspiration to have fun with a bizarre vintage idea of fetish joining seduction, self-irony and creativity.
Now that we are clear, we invite you to have a look at the above links and at the gallery we set up as inspiration… and then to dive in your closets and vintage markets to amaze Sadistique with your kinky fantasy!
